Wheeled brushcutters

The ideal solution for clearing large areas, fields with dense vegetation and uneven ground. Robust and powerful, they get through where a handheld brushcutter can't, with far less effort for the operator.

Wheeled brushcutters

When grass is tall and woody, or brambles and canes have taken over, a handheld brushcutter struggles and a lawn mower simply cannot get in. The wheeled brushcutter fills that gap: a strong chassis, large wheels and a cutting system built for growth nobody has touched for months. It is the usual choice for clearing plots and smallholdings, maintaining verges and banks, opening firebreak strips around property and tidying uneven ground. Push and self-propelled versions exist, with a free-swinging blade or a flail rotor for the heaviest growth.

How to choose

  • Match cutting width and power to the area: the larger the ground, the more a wide, self-propelled machine pays for itself.
  • On slopes or rough terrain, prioritise large wheels, a low centre of gravity and good traction.
  • Pick the cutting system to suit what is actually there: a blade for grass and scrub, flails for woody growth and canes.
  • Check the adjustable cutting height, how the handlebar feels and how easy servicing points are to reach.

At Tecomac we advise you in our Palafrugell shop based on what your land is really like, not on a catalogue. We work with established clearing-machinery brands, keep wear parts in stock and run our own workshop.
